Our story
“Making it right since last century.”
Jose Reyes and his sons have worked side by side in residential construction since 1998. We started in 2000 as Reyes Carpentry Inc., framing the structure of new houses. Homeowners kept asking for more, so in 2005 we built our first complete house, inside and out, on Heritage Lane in Fairfax. Since then we have focused on additions, renovations and remodeling, and in 2019 we became Reyes Construction Group LLC so our name matches the work.
How it works
A remodel is a journey, and you should know the route before it starts. Here is every stop, and who is with you at each one.
Tell us about the project you have in mind and we’ll set a time to visit.
We listen to your ideas, suggest options, measure the space and note any challenges. Bring your own plans, or we can include professional designs for an added cost.
Step by step: what we’ll build, the materials, the cost and the timeline. It usually takes a couple of weeks, with no commitment.
Change anything you like. When we agree, we sign a contract.
We prepare the plans and file for county permits. Meanwhile we help you pick cabinets, tile and finishes, and tell you where to see them in person.
The person you have worked with leads construction, then walks the finished project with you and corrects any detail until you are satisfied.

Yes. We visit your home, listen to what you want, measure the space and send a written proposal with the scope, materials, cost and timeline. The proposal usually takes a couple of weeks, and there is no commitment until you sign a contract.
Yes. Reyes Construction Group holds a Class A contractor license from the Virginia Board for Contractors and carries up-to-date insurance.
Yes. Our staff prepares the paperwork and plans and files for the building permits with the county where your home is located. How long a permit takes depends on the county and how busy it is.
Yes. You can bring your own plans based on our first meeting, or we can include professional designs for your project for an additional cost.
The same person you meet at the first appointment prepares your proposal, leads the construction and walks the finished project with you.
We do a final walk-through together. You point out any detail that does not meet your expectations, and we correct it until you are completely satisfied.
Yes. Jose Reyes speaks English and Spanish, so you can plan your project in either language. Sí, hablamos español.
